DEMOS 2000

DEMOS was originally implemented by Graham Birtwistle as a set of packages on the language simula. See the overview for further information on the raison d'etre behind this version. The accronym was originally read as Discrete Event Modelling On Simula. If one was to carp the current version should be referred to as Discrete Event Modelling On SML, but this has the happy property of leaving the acronym unchanged.

The DEMOS2000 system and its FAQ.

The DEMOS-2000 team are currently:

Athena Christodolou - Java interaction and parsing, examples; athena@hplb.hpl.hp.com

Richard Taylor - Project Manager, examples; rwt@hplb.hpl.hp.com

Chris Tofts - Discrete Event Engine, Process Algebra Compilers, examples; chrof@hplb.hpl.hp.com
